STOMACH ULCERS
Stomach
ulcers is the sore or wound in the stomach lining which is cause by
the corrosion of the top layer of the stomach to excess secretion of acid in
the stomach, sometimes the person can feel too much pain because the ulcer
blocks the movement of food when passing the stomach to the digestive system
biologically this is called gastric obstructions.
Ulcers
also can occur in the part of intestine beyond the stomach and it is called
duodenal ulcers. Stomach and duodenal ulcers are sometimes called peptic
ulcers.
Stomach
ulcers occur when the upper layer of the duodenal that protect the stomach
lining is being corroded by the acid and leave the wounds this causes pain to
the individual and some of them may go through severe stomach pain, vomiting
blood and so on.
CAUSES OF STOMACH
ULCERS
it
is caused by the erosion of the stomach’s mucus coating exposing the
stomach to the action of the digestive enzymes and acid
The
mucus coating can be broken by a bacteria called helicobacter pylori,
certain medication of anti-inflammatory medicines like aspirin and
ibuprofen can cause ulcers to get even worse, the patient must consult the
doctor before taking any of these drugs.

can easily be treated by using antibiotics, these bacteria can be killed and
then heal the damaged part of the duodenal wall,
Proton
pump inhibitor (PPI) is the type of medication which reduce the amount of acid
that is being produced in the stomach hence reduce the chance of the stomach
top layer from being corroded and give it a chance to heal slowly.
Get rid of your bad habits
also
it is important to avoid smoking, taking alcohol, caffeine and acidic foods because
they cause the irritation in the stomach
ulcers
improve your eating habits
it
is also advised to take more of the alkaline
fruits and vegetable like cabbage, nuts, and legumes to help neutralize
acidic actions in the body, but also it has been said that drinking of fresh
milk may help to lower the pain which is caused by the stomach ulcers, some
foods are also said to be able to get rid of the bacteria in stomach for
example broccoli, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries,
cauliflower, cabbage, radishes and so on.
Escape hunger.
The
research show that being hungry could also facilitate the existence of ulcers
because when the stomach is empty, and
your brain has been conditioned
with the routine on the time to get meal, the brain will allow to
stomach to secret the gastric gases which include acidic contents ready to
interact with foods but unfortunately after these gases has been secreted they
will find there is no food in the stomach and as the result they will land on
the top layer of the stomach and hence the acid will start corrode the lining
of the stomach.
Drink
enough amount of water as the water also help to neutralize the acid
in the stomach, when you are hungry and have no food drink some water, this
will help to neutralize all the gastric gases in the stomach and leave your
stomach safe as you are waiting to get meal.
Avoiding emotional
stress that can be caused by different issues concerning your life you may
use meditation like sleeping pills or any other technique to calm you
mind down like meditation, relaxation and so on.
